Project presentations
Telling the story of your problem, method and results.
A good project presentation tells a story in this order:
- Problem: why it matters and who cares — one clear sentence.
- Data: where it came from, its size, key features, and its limitations.
- Approach: baseline first, then the models you tried and why.
- Results: the main metric against the baseline, with a clear chart; error analysis showing where the model fails.
- Insights: what drives predictions, what you learned.
- Limitations and next steps: be honest about weaknesses, bias and what you would do with more time.
Show, don't just tell: one confusion matrix or a few example predictions is worth a paragraph of numbers. Keep slides uncluttered — one idea per slide.
